CSC tops public satisfaction survey

- Michael Punongbayan -

MANILA, Philippines - With a satisfaction rating of 98 percent, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is now branded as the most client-friendly agency of the national government.

Results of a Pulse Asia Awareness, Availment, and Satisfaction Survey conducted from Oct. 24 to Nov. 17 said the CSC bested other government offices when it comes to providing efficient service to the public.

The CSC got the highest rating with 98 percent of clients saying they were satisfied with the services they sought from the agency.

Pulse Asia interviewed clients from client-heavy agencies like the CSC, National Statistics Office (NSO), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) to ask how satisfied they were with the services they availed of during the past 12 months.

Results of the survey released recently said Philhealth came in second, followed by NSO, NBI and GSIS.

CSC chair Francisco Duque III thanked officials and employees for their dedicated service to the public. “This is an affirmation of the hard work that we have been doing to bring fast, efficient, courteous and honest service to the public,” he said.

With the CSC also receiving the Governance Trailblazer Seal in the latest Performance Governance System (PGS) revalida, Duque expressed optimism that the CSC will continue its winning streak.

“I hope that we will not rest on our laurels and continue looking for ways to improve our services to our clients,” he said.
