3 Pinoy kids to Seoul filmfest
Manila, Philippines - Anak TV spokesperson Mikee Cojuangco Jaworski announced that the top winners in the Kabataan sa Bisayas Media Festival held in May will represent the Philippines at the Seoul International Youth Film Fest in Korea this month.
The Philippine delegates are Wency Anotado, 14, of Western Samar; Jericho Codilan, 14, of Eastern Samar; and Cebuana Mareza Impas, 15, of Camotes Island.
They will attend a filmmaking camp in the outskirts of Seoul. During the filmfest, Anak TV’s secretary general Mag Cruz Hatol will speak on “Humor as Youth’s Video Tool in Confronting Issues.”
Teleradyo-DZMM and TV 5’s Aksyon TV are now featuring select PSAs in their broadcasts. By end of July, inter-island ships like Superferry and Negros Navigation and buses will begin screening the kids’ works on board.
