The GEA gave awards in the following categories: outstanding employee (per group), outstanding leader, outstanding people manager, project team of the year, exemplary behavior award (individual and team), and outstanding social responsibility. To generate funds for a medical mission, GAC organized several activities, including a raffle, a caving expedition for Globe employees, selling of postcards, and receiving donations from GAC members. The mission was able to provide much needed medical attention and medicine to Aeta families residing in Sito Mampueng in Zambales.
