LIST: Flooded Metro Manila areas on August 29

MANILA, Philippines (Update 4, 5:58 p.m.) — Several roads in Metro Manila remained affected by flooding on Saturday, August 29, as the capital region remained under a red rainfall warning due to heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon or habagat.
State weather bureau PAGASA said serious flooding is expected in flood-prone areas under the red warning level. Metro Manila was among the areas placed under the red rainfall warning as of 5 p.m.
As of 5:39 p.m., the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority reported the following flooded areas:

- Araneta-Talayan northbound/southbound — waist-deep (37 inches)
- Araneta-Maria Clara northbound — tire-deep (26 inches)
- G. Araneta Sr. Avenue — waist-deep (37 inches)
