Sara ready for NBI raps

MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte is ready to face justice if rumors are true that charges will be filed against her by the National Bureau of Investigation.

The NBI is probing Duterte for supposedly hiring an assassin to kill President Marcos and his family in the event of her death.

“It isn’t surprising, based on the number of cases they have filed. These are being used against the people who disagree with the President,” Duterte told reporters in Davao yesterday.

“My lawyers are preparing for the eventuality that fresh charges are filed against me,” she said.
