CEBU, Philippines —  Daryle Tan delivered a double-double show of 28 points and 18 rebounds with two assists and two steals as the Cebu Landmasters Batch 2003 blasted the Magis Medical Services, 99-54, for its fifth straight win in the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Season 29 at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles Arena in Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.

Justin Huang banged in 16 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and a steal, Leandro Gollon chipped in 12 points and four rebounds while Rich Tuadles contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists as Batch 2003 tightened its grip of the Division A lead with a clean 5-0 slate.

In the other Division A games, Core Pacific improved to 4-1 after beating Big Three Pizza Batch 1996, 73-65, while ARQ Batch 2001 annihilated Batch 2002, 109-46, for its third victory in four starts.

Joel Co led Core Pacific with 20 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. Jeremy Huang added 15 points and 13 rebounds while Johannes Chua finished with 11 points and three assists.

Mark Hing paced Batch 2001 with 18 points and 13 rebounds while Jason Arquisola tossed in 17 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a steal.

Jim Paul Lamoco and Gino Peralta were the other double-digit scorers for the ARQ-backed squad with 15 and 12 markers,  respectively.

In Division B, ‘04 The Win Batch 2004 took the solo second spot with a 5-1 record after edging Hatch IT Solutions Batch 2010, 78-73, while Insular Square Batch 2005 rolled past Batch 2008, 91-86, for its second win in five games.

Kyle Valmoria showed the way for Batch 2004 with 32 points, seven rebounds and four assists followed by Franco Augusto Te with 22 points, 24 rebounds, and two assists.

Elddie Cabahug was in his usual deadly form, exploding for 49 points with seven rebounds and two assists for Batch 2005. He was supported by Aaron Uy with 18 points, five rebounds and two assists, and Antonio Datan with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

In Division C, Rezald Joshua Dacalos caught the eye with an incredible triple-double of 38 points, 33 rebounds and 10 assists to power 730 Autoworx Batch 2024 to a 94-89 triumph over Comforser Tires Batch 2022.

Rey Marcus Fuentes IV sizzled with 30 points on top of nine rebounds and two assists as FADI Batch 2021 pummeled CHEK Technologies Batch 2025, 105-70, while Chaz Cokaliong, Anton Chua, Lorenzo Otero, and Janjan Jaboneta combined for 48 points to propel BRX Batch 2015 to an 86-64 rout of Rufrance LPG Batch 2026. — (FREEMAN)
