Subaru Roadshow at MIAS
Manila, Philippines - One of the spectacular highlights of the recent staging of the Manila International Autoshow (MIAS) held at the World Trade Center was the precision stunt driving of Guinness Book of Records holder Russ Swift.
Held every year to dazzle, amaze and to add more sizzle to the country’s biggest automotive spectacle, the stunt driving show is annually sponsored by Motor Image, the exclusive distributors of the Subaru brand in the country. As always, this year’s precision driving show attracted legions of automotive fans as they ogled at the sight of Swift performing outrageous stunts, precision parking, wheelies and tire smoking donuts behind the wheel of Subaru’s powerful Impreza WRX STi. “I have always preferred the Impreza due to its power and handling. It is perfect for a show like mine,” states Swift, who also performs around the world and is the record holder for the most number of donuts done in a car.

Our engines are high performance so we demand the utmost protection for our engines,” explains Tan.
Swift on the other hand demanded the use of Nitto tires due to its exceptional grip and better handling. “I used this tire once and never looked back. It provides me the right grip when performing my signature stunt moves like the donuts and when I perform the automotive dance with the Impreza,” states Swift.
