MANILA, Philippines - After extensive evaluation and exhaustive instrumented testing of practically every car from every manufacturer, it’s time once again for C! Magazine’s Annual C! Awards.
Now on its sixth year, it will recognize the very best per category in the automotive industry. Nominees are selected among cars sold and tested from April 2009 to end of March of this year. The result is then a collection of the best of the best for 2010 from compacts to sedans to SUVs and supercars. C! Magazine outdoes itself every year!
A total of 28 awards will be given out compared to 26 in 2009. This includes the Pocholo Ramirez Achievement Award, which was given to Lexus Philippines president Danny Isla last year, C! Drive of 2009 and the C! Consumer Choice Award. The nominees have been featured in the February and March issues of C! magazine and the winners will be seen in the August issue featuring the new Mercedes Benz SLS and the all-new Volvo S60.
Car buffs who voted for the C! Consumer Choice Award get the chance to win exciting prizes. Ten winners will be given a one-year subscription of C! Magazine while five will win an exclusive new season C! cap signed by supercar manufacturer himself Horacio Pagani. Together with these, they will also get an exclusive pass to the 6th C! Annual Awards to be held at One Esplanade on July 15 including a multi-course gala dinner to be catered by La Tasca.
The 6th Annual C! Awards will be hosted by Rovilson Fernandez, popular model/ TV host and former contestant of AXN’s Amazing Race Asia and the very talented actress/model Bianca King.
