Toyota Team bags golds in QC Circle competitions

MANILA, Philippines - The team from Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) showed its world-class caliber as it won gold awards during the recent Quality Circle Regional Convention (QCRC) and International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) 2009. Team D’Survivors from TMP’s Assembly Section emerged as one of the five gold awardees in the Manila leg of the QCRC where 17 companies coming from different regions in the Philippines went head-to-head at the Vivere Hotel in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. This award earned D’Survivors a ticket to compete in the ICQCC 2009 held in Cebu where the team bagged one of the fifteen gold awards as they competed with 114 companies from 14 countries across Asia. With this feat, the team brought pride to TMP and to the country, as well. Team D’Survivors is composed of (from left) Joey Santos, Neil Completo, Vicente Gozo, Emmanuel Floranda, Antonio Gimang, Nocole Ilag, Rommel Alano, Abner Ferrer, Arnel Ercillo, and Noel Hare.
