Matrix challenges women to donate 8 inches of their hair

MANILA, Philippines - In an effort to help uplift the lives of Filipino children struck by cancer, Matrix takes on the challenge to gather hairdressers and Filipino women to make a difference in more ways than one with the Matrix 8-Inch Cut for Cancer Challenge.

Matrix, in partnership with Kythe Ateneo, calls upon Pinays to join this worthwhile movement by donating 8 inches of their hair for the benefit of Filipino children with cancer. At the same time, volunteer hair dressers from partner institution, David’s Salon, will be donating their time on Oct. 25 to do stylish haircuts for free.

To further amplify the initiative, Matrix Philippines partnered with TV personality Maxene Magalona and lifestyle blogger Jackie Go. With cancer awareness as an advocacy that is very close to their hearts, both ambassadors took on the challenge themselves by cutting 8 inches of their hair. Matrix and its ambassadors share the same goal of inspiring and encouraging Filipinos to make a difference in the lives of cancer kids.

With 33 years of global salon success and currently present in 57 countries, Matrix continues the Chairs of Change journey with the Matrix 8-Inch Cut for Cancer Challenge.

Are you ready to accept the challenge to give Filipino children an option to live with confidence and expression? Dare to make a difference on Oct. 25 at The Block, 2nd Floor, SM City North Edsa.
