MANILA, Philippines - Since November 11, only three days after the wrath of Super Typhoon Yolanda, STAR photographer Edd Gumban has been traveling around Leyte, capturing scenes of destruction and rebuilding. He endured the difficult conditions that the survivors face daily, actually experiencing life after the storm. His images show the devastation wrought by the typhoon, but also bear witness to the Filipinos’ will to survive any storm as the people of Leyte begin to rise, once more, out of the rubble.
