Subic kayak race series

MANILA, Philippines - Paddlers outraced one another in the Subic Kayak Race Series which kicked off recently to promote the Subic as a kayaking and eco-touring haven. The series, which runs until May 31, is a 10-day kayaking tourney held every Wednesday and Friday comprising of one-kilometer sprints around the bay. The sporting event is a build-up activity to the 25-km Anvaya Cove Kayak Explore set on June 1 as part of the Philippine Kayaking Series 2013.

Organized by The Lighthouse Marina Resort, the Subic Kayak Race Series is supported by Quiksilver, Roxy, and the Saturday Afternoon Gentlemen Sailing.
