Shangri-La’s Mactan’s female-friendly practices

MANILA, Philippines - In line with initiatives across the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts group, Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa, Cebu initiates a new set of standards aimed to respect the preferences and protect the privacy of female guests.

Front office staff carefully pre-assigns rooms by paying particular attention to location and preferences, especially for ladies traveling alone.

Existing room safety features provide assurance that security is a prime concern for the hotel. Standard hotel bathrobes and slippers now available in ladies’ sizes.

The hotel offers more female-friendly amenities, including hair curling iron, additional coat or silk hangers and an exercise mat. In-room dining orders will be served by female staff.

The new service standards and procedures are a way of strengthening the heartfelt Shangri-La hospitality that ensures all guests are welcomed as family members and are given a delightful stay.
