Shopwise inducted into OFR Hall of Fame

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s first hypermarket, Shopwise, now counts itself among the prestigious Hall of Fame Awardees, as it was hailed as Outstanding Hypermarket for the third time at the recently concluded 16th Outstanding Filipino Retailers and Shopping Centers of the Year Awards Night (OFR-SCY).

Accepting the award from DTI Undersecretary, Zenaida Maglaya were Rustan’s Supercenters, Inc. president, Donnie V. Tantoco and RSCI vice president for Shopwise, Kerwin Legarde.

Dubbed as the ‘Oscars of the Retail Industry’, the annual gathering of the biggest names and key players in the Philippine retail industry is organized by the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The institution recognizes Filipino companies who have epitomized the model of a successful retailer in terms of growth and good ethical business practices.
