MANILA, Philippines - In a sexy gold dress, chef and events stylist Kate Anzani celebrated her 33rd birthday with a bang. Mission accomplished: her party fell on New Year’s Eve and her friends came full force. The fireworks, music by DJ Dino, nibbles and drinks all added to the fanfare. Post party countdown? Twenty seven bottles of white, 15 bottles of red, three bottles of Grey Goose, three bottles of Patron XO, two bottles of gin and 48 bottles of champagne for good measure. In another part of the city, it was refreshing to see Scrapyard Lounge packed with a good crowd. The bartenders were hard at work keeping up with the partygoers as everyone was obviously in the mood to drink and just be merry. The rising sun didn’t stop the parties from rolling.
