MANILA, Philippines - To mark the 25 Years of the European Union’s Erasmus Scholarship Programme, the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines in collaboration with the EU Cultural Group, EU Cultural Institutes and the Commission on Higher Education will hold the second “European Higher Education Fair Manila 2012: Brighter Prospects” on November 14, from 2:30 to 8 pm, at The Peninsula Hotel.  A total of 22 European Higher Education Institutions will exhibit at the fair.

EU Ambassador Guy Ledoux said that the main aim of the European Higher Education Fair is to give Filipino students the opportunity to talk directly with representatives of universities and higher education establishments from across Europe about the vast array of study opportunities available in Europe in every subject and discipline.

“Through the European Higher Education Fair, we also hope to increase the number of Filipino scholars availing themselves of the Erasmus Mundus Mobility and Scholarship Programme which has already benefitted almost 200 Filipino scholars, students and researchers.”
