Aegis Happy World's Handful of Hope

Manila, Philippines -  Aegis, one of the country’s leading outsourcing services providers, received a gold trophy from the 2012 Rotaract District Conference for the Most Outstanding Community Service Project for its Handful of Hope campaign. 

Handful of Hope is a joint project of Aegis–Cebu and the Rotaract Club of Cebu South which benefited 450 children and their families in a barangay in Carcar, Cebu. Aegisites and Rotaract Club members visited Kayam and Kalangyaon Elementary Schools in Barangay Napo to distribute 900 kilos of rice, 50 pairs of slippers, a television set for e-Learning, 200 reference books for the school libraries and food for the students. 

The Handful of Hope campaign affirms Aegis’ strong commitment to make a difference in the lives of those in need as part of its Happy World – Happier People efforts to help improve the lives of the communities where they belong.
