FedEx delivers "Colors of Hope"

-

MANILA, Philippines - FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. and the world’s largest express transportation companies, recently held “Colors of Hope” at the National Children’s Hospital. Employees spent a day with over fifty terminally ill children, engaging them in activities designed to help children cope with their illnesses through art. The children are under the care of the Kythe Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing psychosocial care to children afflicted by chronic illnesses such as cancer.

The event was held as part of the FedEx Cares Week global initiative dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities where FedEx employees live and work. Around 1,000 FedEx volunteers across the Asia Pacific region supported 39 local organizations in a range of community activities, including tree planting, environmental education sessions for children, childcare activities, visits to elderly centers, and book donations, among others.
