-

MANILA, Philippines –  Members of the Royal Australian Navy patrol boat HMAS Broome led by Lt. Cmdr. Paul Graham and Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Rod Smith helped repaint the Tiniguiban Elementary School in Puerto Princesa City during the ship’s recent port visit to Palawan. Photo shows Able Seaman Neil Herron, Seaman Michael Tuck and Able Seaman Nathan Davies with the students.

HMAS Broome’s visit was part of the annual Maritime Training Activity LUMBAS conducted by Australian and Philippine naval forces. The activity aims to strengthen the Philippines’ capacity to protect its borders through maritime security training and mariner skills enhancement.
