Run for knowledge on Nov. 28

MANILA, Philippines –  Run for knowledge on Nov. 28 and help Filipino learners be the best they can be.

“KaRUNungan 2010: Run for Knowledge”, organized by Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) will help bridge continuing resource and learning gaps in the Philippine education system.

Funds raised from this event will go to the Knowledge Channel’s Expert Teachers on Air Project, which will be producing the educational show “Masterminds”. The program is meant to help high school students improve their mastery of English, Science and Math through “virtual” expert teachers on air.

With 3k, 5k, 10k and 15k categories, serious and fun runners can support the cause. All categories begin and end inside the Meralco Compound Meralco Ave., Ortigas Ave, and Green Meadows Ave. form part of the “KaRUNungan 2010” race routes.

The top three male and top three female runners for each category will be awarded trophies and cash prizes. Other prizes and goodies will also be given to the biggest delegation, oldest and youngest runners, and best in running gear.

Registration fee is P400 for 3k and 5k and P600 for 10k and 15k. Register at Chris Sports in SM Marikina, SM North Edsa, Market!
