The cool North Court of the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, dahlings, was the scene of some major social hobnobbing, flying kisses and coosome-twosome-ing as the accessories collection of the renowned house of Bally was unveiled to a tres select chi-chi group in the fashion world of Cosmo Manille. The show emphasized what Bally has been famous for all these years: excellent crafted shoes and bags that make your everyday extraordinary.
Accessories this season include the iconic Busy B collection in black and white jacquard, supple leather handbags with the distinct Swiss cross lock, plus travel bags in attractive light-colored nylon. For men of taste, palanggas, lightweight briefcases, structured messenger bags and travel pieces with the red and white fabric handle that is distinctly Bally.
The show was put together by Ballys exclusive franchisee, Stores Specialists, Inc. with mega-gent Anton Huang on top of things, and hotshot persona Rolf Kambli, the CEO of Bally in Asia and the Pacific, no less, who jetted in for the launch.
Fashion watchers that evening, dahlings, included hip fashion babe Leica Carpo, Vs Louie Ysmael, Robbie Herrera, Vince Hizon, Elbert and Liza Ilarde Cuenca of the popular Resto 12, Joyce Oreña Stalder, Hong Kong-based Kitty Go, Talentworks Girlie Rodis and man around town Ralph Joseph who, as always, generously sponsored the wines for the night.
Remember, palanggas, "Our longings are always God-inspired and only He can fulfill them, with your complete faith." Smile. See you.
