The 22-year-old WIT Manila recently hosted the 6th National Convention at the Mandarin Oriental seeking to send tourism "Fast Forward to Meet the Challenges of the Times". While registration was going on, a whole-day bazaar was being held, and at welcome cocktails that evening each club performed an entertainment number.

Olongapo Mayor Kate Gordon was guest speaker at the convention proper, which also featured IFWTO Area I Pacific Gov. Marilyn Gamboa, Tourism Usec.
