The Tower Club

It was the most sought-after invitation to the most exclusive business club in town, dahlings. The Tower Club’s recent affair at the Mandarin’s Tivoli Grill drew a formidable array of industry titans, including Arthur Lopez, pres. and ceo of CCA Phils., Danilo Ignacio of Philam Properties, Danish GM Soeren Hansen and membership director Cyndy Tan-Jarabata.

Other hot-shot namedroppables, palanggas, were Club members Armando Anday, Andy and Tisha Bautista, Celia Cuasay, Leroy Tan, Amado Tadeo, William and Eliza Valdez, Dave Mercado and the Club’s special guests Amb. Ike and Letty Syquia, Amb. Domingo Siazon Jr. and Jose Concepcion III.

Succeeding events, dahlings, are expected to draw more distinguished guests. A recent preview of the club’s amenities drew raves as a sprawling venue fit for a "gathering of kings". Indeed, for the Tower Club is developed by Philamlife and managed by CCA International.

Checks and color blocks in intensely interesting interpretations marked the start of a new year at Momento, dahlings, as the fashion store moved to the second level of Cinderella at Glorietta 4.

Aside from a rich mix of jacquard pashmina from India, organza and chiffon pieces, there was a lurex suite of black, brown and camel with argyle and plaids. At the intimate buyers’ show cum tea party, palanggas, the show had yet to begin but the shopping was in full gear. Mother and daughter Pachot Mapa and Carmina Mapa del Rosario, tres in-the-moment with a checked blouse Josephine Knox, Mary Anne Borromeo in hip glazed denim, Roi Philips, Lorna Quisumbing, Susan Campos, Nimfa Yatco, also Margarita Romualdez, Jaina Perez, Tina Coscolluela, Joan Matchuck and, naturellement, Momento’s stylish owner Therese Coronel Santos plus Ramon San Agustin and Richie Santos.
