Casa de Memoria, the Lhuillier-managed auction house, offers the perfect opportunity to spruce up your living space with Tercero, its upcoming online auction this Sept. 26 at 2 p.m. The auction will feature over 200 European and Filipino art pieces.
Lhuillier-Albani, together with interior decorator Ram Bucoy and consultant Monchet Olives, hosted an online press preview via Zoom to give a sneak peek at Tercero. They offered advice on decorating living spaces, especially now when many of us are stuck at home.
Casa de Memoria general manager Camille Lhuillier-Albani said, “Art has been used to bring joy, inspiration, and strength, and our homes need these now more than ever.”
Bucoy said, “When decorating, always go with your instincts and never second guess. If you see something you really like, that’s it! It will instantly put a smile on your face. For me, decorating is also about creating moments that reflect not only the decorator, but also the homeowner. At Tercero, you'll find a lot of affordable and small pieces that you can easily place in your home or mount on your wall. These are perfect starting pieces for your home, and you can build your art collection from there.”
During the preview, Casa de Memoria highlighted the lots going under the hammer, which included a pair of edition prints by Spanish-Filipino artist Fernando M. Zobel, a gladiator sculpture by Isabelo Tampinco, and a lithograph titled “The Creation of Eve” by Salvador Dali. My favorite is the Tampinco sculpture.

The future is here
Designers and city planners are looking for ways to develop cities that are future-ready, sustainable, and resilient amid ever-changing times. In a webinar titled “The Future Is Here: Thriving Beyond the New Normal,” Filinvest City has proved to be at the forefront of the movement long before the pandemic.
Streamed on https://www.facebook.com/FilinvestCityOFFICIAL, the webinar featured a panel of industry experts who discussed the importance of building cities in the new normal, following three P’s: People, Planet, and Profit. Among them were Filinvest City’s vice president for townships Don Ubaldo, award-winning architect Jason Pomeroy, director of Barone International Dean Barone, and director and head of research of real estate services firm Cushman and Wakefield Claro Cordero.
As a green city, Filinvest City has developed a self-sustaining, live-work-play township that takes care of the planet and its people. Thirty percent of its total land development is designated for green, open spaces. Pedestrians and cyclists enjoy wide roads and sidewalks, allowing easy and worry-free mobility around the city. Its lush landscape supports native vegetation and utilizes recycled water to eliminate the use of potable water for irrigation. There’s an adventure bike trail, bird-watching venue with 25 documented species, and a living creek that flows through Laguna de Bay — a natural habitat for freshwater creatures.
This self-sustaining city has world-class hospitals like Asian Hospital, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine and Ospital ng Muntinlupa, lifestyle hubs Festival Alabang and Westgate Alabang, as well as multinational companies and educational institutions.
This garden city South of the Metro is easily accessible via major roads like South Luzon Expressway, Alabang-Zapote Road, Daang Hari, Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway, and the Old National Highway.
Filinvest City earned the LEED v4 (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold in Neighborhood Development certification in the Philippines. One of the largest central business districts in Southeast Asia, it is also the first to receive such certification in the country.
