Vonotec Inc. director and chairman Henry Zabarte and Sacred Heart Academy of Novaliches director Jojo Zabarte celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Makati Garden Club in Makati City recently.

The well-loved couple’s loving family and lifelong friends from the business and social sectors were present to celebrate their five decades of wedded bliss.

Guests enjoyed excellent food and delightful disco dancing to famous ‘80s songs.

Beauty with a purpose

Mutya ng Pilipinas proved that beauty goes beyond the glitz and glamour of pageants with its recent significant contribution to the Philippine Cancer Society (PCS).

The turnover ceremony of Mutya ng Pilipinas’ donation to PCS from the proceeds of its coffee table book called Mutya: 50 Years of Pageantry and Purpose was led by Mutya ng Pilipinas chairperson Fred Yuson and Best Dressed Women of the Philippines event chairperson and Angola Consul Helen Ong and PCS board member Dr. Kelly Salvador.
