The season of thanksgiving and long holidays is upon us. Running from party to party while always looking one’s very best has become the challenge.

Fashionistas had a field day at the many clothing options presented at the recent BCBG Max Azria 2015 Fall/Pre-Holiday Trend event held at BCBG Shangri-La Plaza Mall where there is something for everyone for the holidays.

Linear Group Philippines Inc. managing director Kat Florencio believes that after a year of hardwork (and whether one has been naughty or nice), one deserves to update one’s wardrobe according to the latest trends.

At the event, models paraded in outfits that showcased different styles of dressing from sweet and feminine to ultra-stylish and attention-grabbing pieces. Show-stopping dresses from Hervé Legér were paired with exquisite jewelry by Diamantaire since it is the season of sparkle after all!

The unveiling of Casa Consuelo led by Consuelo ‘Elsie’ Escudero, Juliette Gomez-Romualdez and National Historical Commission of the Philippines chairman Maria Serena Diokno.

Reliving rich culture & history

It was an enriching trip back to 18th-century Philippines as respected names from various social circles gathered at Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort in Tiaong, Quezon for the unveiling of the house museum Casa Consuelo.

Guests were graciously welcomed to the noteworthy affair by Villa Escudero’s Ado Escudero and eldest sister ConsueloElsieEscudero.

The old house, owned by Esteban Gomez and wife Josefa of Angeles, Pampanga, was passed on from one heir to another until it was acquired by Elsie in the late ‘80s. The house was eventually reconstructed inside Villa Escudero by the resort’s team of expert artisans led by Ado and his late nephew Don Escudero using its numerous original pieces to maintain the house’s original look.

Also present during the event was the Gomez clan headed by siblings Capt. Ben Hur Gomez and Juliette Gomez-Romualdez, great grandchildren of Don Esteban and Doña Josefa.

Cheers to Ado for this meaningful and remarkable project!
