‘A child can...’
MANILA, Philippines - A Child Can Foundation (ACCF), an early intervention center working with children with special needs, together with the Philippine Association for Behavior Analysis (PABA), will hold a seminar titled “Autism: Managing the Whole Person,” tomorrow, Sept. 6, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at AIM Conference Center, JV Del Rosario Building, Benavidez corner Trasierra St., Legazpi Village, Makati City. The seminar aims to reach parents, teachers, doctors, occupational and speech therapists, and professionals working with children with autism and other learning disabilities.
Guest speakers for the seminar are: Rick Gutierrez, BCBA (managing behavior, verbal and communication behavior); Dr. Pablito Planta Jr. (eating and nutrition problems of children with autism); and Dr. Vicky Pangilinan (“Nothing but the Tooth” — The Benefits of Good Oral Health).
