‘The Philippines: Your investment destination’

The Shareholders Association of the Philippines (SharePHIL), led by its president Francis Lim, recently held its first SharePHIL Summit at the luxurious Dusit Thani Manila with “The Philippines: Your Investment Destination” as its theme. Main speakers were PLDT Group chair Manuel V. Pangilinan, British Ambassador Asif Ahmad, Christopher Cheong of the Securities Investors Association of Singapore, and Philippine Economic Zone Authority director general Lilia de Lima. 

SharePHIL is chaired by the indefatigable Evelyn Singson, who is also the president and vice chair of Philippine Hoteliers Inc. It was founded in 2012 with a mission to become a major player in promoting domestic capital market development through advocacy, education and enlightenment of shareholders. Its vision is to be the leading institution and catalyst in the protection and promotion of shareholders’  rights, duties and responsibilities.

SharePHIL’s co-presentor is the Management Association of the Philippines.
