A day of fellowship & camaraderie

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

Promoting stronger ties among its members and the foreign community is the Inner Wheel Club of Manila (IWCM), headed by president Marissa Fenton, as it hosted a get-together party at Writers Bar in Raffles Makati.

The worthwhile event, organized in cooperation with the Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines (IWCPI) District 381, gathered Inner Wheel Club members from all over the country, diplomats including South African Ambassador Agnes Nyamande-Pitso, Turkish Ambassador Hatice Pinar Isik and Phinde Dingile as well as several ambassadors’ wives.

All the ladies present in the said gathering participated in a parade of national costumes where the charming Caecilia Legowo won the Best in Costume award. The celebration ended with a wonderful song number from the talented IWCM ladies that definitely put a smile on everyone’s faces.

Kudos to Marissa and the entire group of the Inner Wheel Club of Manila for organizing this meaningful affair!

An evening of style with Sheree

It was a gathering of the metro’s beautiful faces as stylish stunner Sheree Chua turned a year wiser and lovelier.

A fabulous party was organized by the charming celebrator’s loving and ever-supportive family — parents Enrique and Flora and sisters Tiffany and Ruby Jane — and was well-attended by people closest to Sheree’s heart, including a number of the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines awardees.

The chic party doubled as a reunion of these gorgeous Best Dressed ladies, who all made time to celebrate the special day of Sheree, who’s a Best Dressed awardee herself.

It was indeed a wonderful evening as everyone shared fond stories about the lovely celebrator while enjoying the delectable food especially prepared for the occasion and complemented by generous serving of drinks.

Here’s to another blessed and magnificent year, dear Sheree!

Time to bond & brainstorm

A group of professionals who have personally helped in building hospitals in Metro Manila and in several provinces took time to unwind recently at the home of Dr. Ferjenel Biron.

After enjoying a light moment, everyone quickly buckled down to work, planning on their next project. The group, that included Muebles Italiano president and CEO Noel Gonzales, Unihealth Medical Group president Dr. Amado Enriquez Jr. and wife Marilyn, PGH Medical Foundation president Greg Alvior and Felix Nolasco, all share in the sublime mission of augmenting the availability of vital hospital services nationwide.

More power!

Where many stars stay while in Cebu

The night before their mall show in Cebu, the country’s “Queen of all Media” Kris Aquino and her son Bimby had a restful night at the popular tranquil vacation spot, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.

Meanwhile, a famous TV program in Japan called Good friend of Katsumi & Sayuri is set to feature in its future episodes the colonial plantation-style resort with the most modern facilities.  The program’s hosts, famous Japanese comedians Katsumi and Sayuri, stayed at Plantation Bay to shoot and showcase what the resort has to offer to their viewers.

Plantation Bay’s hardworking general manager Nenette Castillon together with marketing consultant Efren Belarmino made sure celebrities and guests always have a splendid time at the popular resort in Mactan Island.
