An evening of beautiful bliss

A showcase of excellent craftsmanship and impeccable artistry was witnessed by the metro’s A-listers as Hoseki, one of  the country’s premier jewelry design studios, unveiled its newest collection called Gem Rhapsody at the One Rockwell function room in Makati City.

The stunning jewelry pieces featured in the exhibit took everyone’s breath away with each item having its own unique and beautiful story.

Graciously welcoming guests to this lovely affair were the ingenious Hoseki team members led by visionary founder Faico, endearing corporate affairs director Zabeth Co and equally talented chief creative officer Knoi Esmane.

Aside from the Gem Rhapsody jewelry collection, on display as well were the exquisitely-designed pieces from the company’s Greek jewelry line Meraki.

Cheers to the Hoseki team for the success of this wonderful event!

A love to last a lifetime

The dream of finding that one person you would want to live with for the rest of your life has come true for Christian Dychangco and Rachelle Ann Nicole Garrucho, who first met at a photocopying area when they were still in school. What followed was a romantic turn of events as they became closer as classmates in Math. Both finished their degrees at the University of Asia and the Pacific where Christian took up Humanities while Nicole majored in Child Development and Education.

The sweetest years went by and led the two lovers to a quaint day at Lake Thomas in Arkansas where Nicole gave a resounding “yes” to Christian’s marriage proposal. This love story culminated in a solemn wedding ceremony at the Santuario de San Antonio church in Forbes Park, Makati City, followed by a lavish reception at The Peninsula Manila.

The church was packed with friends and family led by the bride’s parents Nancy and Capt. Thelmo Garrucho and the groom’s parents Mav and Benjie Dychangco who all gathered for the much-awaited union. Principal sponsors included Biñan City Mayor Marlyn Alonte-Naguiat and the bride’s aunt, Philippine Red Cross governor Leonida “Baby” Ortiz.

Creative confectionary genius Penk Ching made a unique and equally sumptuous wedding cake, symbolizing the good life ahead for the newlyweds.

All the best to Christian and Nicole!
