Time-honored pageantry

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception was recently celebrated in Intramuros with a grand Marian procession that started late in the afternoon in front of the Manila Cathedral.

The event, mounted by the Cofradia de la Immaculada Concepcion Foundation and the Intramuros Administration (IA), is a revival of the tradition that originated in Intramuros in 1619.  Back then, the feast day was a national celebration that ran for 15 days.

Residents and visitors were charmed at the parade of over 80 images of the Blessed Virgin Mary, including the image of the La Immaculada Concepcion Mater Purisima under the care of the IA.

Many thanks to Cofradia’s founding chairperson Meldy Cojuangco, president Rory Eizmendi and comite de festejos chair Ado Escudero for the unique combination of spirituality and pageantry, solemnity and festivity.

A premier address in Alabang

A new residential haven has risen at the bustling Northgate Cyberzone district in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. This residential development promises to bring to its clients sophisticated style, unparalleled exclusivity and effortless living.

Dubbed as 3 Forty Fifth Residences, this 71-unit residential condominium is the final product of the dynamic collaboration of Top Market Property Development’s Rissa Oreta and Manolo Abellada, A.M. Oreta & Co. Inc.’s Antolin Oreta Jr., Archion’s Dan Lichauco and Tajara Leisure and Hospitality Group’s Cyndy Tan-Jarabata.

To formally launch Alabang’s most upscale and only boutique residential development, an intimate dinner was organized by the charming Cyndy Tan-Jarabata at Southern Metro’s leading five-star hotel, The Bellevue Manila. The event was attended by esteemed guests from the government, business and social circles.

Congratulations to Cyndy Tan-Jarabata and the entire team behind 3 Forty Fifth Residences for this remarkable event!

To love & to hold

The wedding plans of Plantation Bay Resort and Spa’s pretty-as-ever public relations officer Hannah Patalinjug and her long-time sweetheart Carlo Lood finally pushed through a day after Super Typhoon Yolanda struck Cebu City.

The long-time lovebirds (seven years!) tied the knot at the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod. After which, the newlyweds proceeded with their guests to the lavish reception waiting at the Plantation Bay’s Alcatraz Ballroom in Mactan Island, Cebu.

Best wishes, Hannah and Carlo! Remember to be there for each other in your newest adventure as husband and wife!
