A merry, Belo-fied holiday!
Let us look forward to this New Year with a more positive attitude and stronger faith in the Lord Almighty.
It was indeed a memorable Yuletide season for the loyal clients of the country’s leading dermatology and cosmetic surgery center, Belo Medical Group, as they experienced celebrating the holiday season around the world. A holiday-themed decorating contest was organized by the charismatic Belo Medical Group founder and CEO Dr. Vicki Belo along with managing director Cristalle Belo Henares for the company’s nine clinics.
Each branch was tasked to choose a country, which would be the central theme of its holiday decor. Everyone eagerly and actively participated in this wonderful activity, with the doctors and clinic staff donning the national costume of their chosen country. Some of the clinics even went far as serving famous dishes of their “country,†which definitely won the hearts of the clients.
Cheers to Dr. Vicki Belo and the entire Belo Medical Group staff for staging this fantastic idea!
Crystals & Christmas
EDSA Shangri-La Manila, the first Shangri-La hotel in the Philippines, welcomed the festive season in its trademark elegant and sophisticated style with a crystal-themed Christmas tree-lighting ceremony.
The hotel’s general manager, Patrick Schaub, and Mandaluyong City Mayor Benjamin Abalos Jr. turned on the symbolic switch that lit the 20-foot tall Christmas tree, after 100 children from Isla de Cocomo Day Care Center, the hotel’s adopted community, led the tree-lighting countdown held at the newly renovated Lobby Lounge.
Guests were greeted with luxurious crystal ornaments and décor as they entered the hotel. The lobby was adorned with sampaguita lei-shaped crystal chandeliers, the very inspiration for the year’s holiday theme.
All the enhanced facilities of the hotel including the newly renovated guestrooms and suites, as well as the redesigned pool area, were all part of the hotel’s gesture of thanking its patrons throughout the year, said EDSA Shangri-La Manila communications manager Claire Hernandez.
