One ‘Klasse’ act

With the intention to re-introduce itself to its highly-discerning market, Swiss heritage brand Victorinox hosted “Klasse” at the Oz Bar of the Holiday Inn & Suites in Makati. It was a meaningful gathering, which was also in line with the recent Swiss National Day celebrations.

The Victorinox Klasse card, a loyalty card that entitles its members to receive various perks and privileges, was launched that night. Its perks include invitations to Victorinox’s private selling and exclusive launches, promos and parties and a 20-percent discount during one’s birthday month.

An ultimate and global provider of sophisticated and reliable lifestyle products, Victorinox has undeniably brought pride and utmost recognition to its homeland. Primarily, the brand has constantly exhibited high-grade craftsmanship, top-notch quality and state-of-the-art innovation — all of which are distinct marks of the Swiss culture.

Victorinox has produced selections of Swiss knives, timepieces, apparel, travel gear, cutlery and fragrances patronized by those who value premium craftsmanship.

During the event, a spread of Swiss specialties like Lucerne Vol Au Vent, Vitello Tonnato, St. Gallen sausages, Ticino air-dried meats, cheese board of gruyere, Emmental and Appenzeller, assorted bread rolls, Swiss chocolate fondue, meringue, fresh strawberries and grapes were enjoyed by guests who discovered the Swiss culture through food.

Primer Group of Companies’ AVP Darwin Banez led the toast and the event’s guest of honor, Swiss Ambassador Ivo Sieber, shared kind words about the long-standing and amicable relations between the Philippines and Switzerland.

Ambassador Sieber was named the Klasse card’s first honorary member. Klasse cards were also distributed to the guests.

Victorinox products were also raffled off like a Swiss Army Knife Explorer, a Swiss Army Original, a Swiss Army Victoria, a Swiss Army Night Vision and a Victorinox Werks Professional business case.

The event’s hotel sponsor, Holiday Inn, also gave away gift certificates applicable for use in its in-house restaurants.
