For the love of football

It was a night of great bonding for football players and enthusiasts when Unilever Philippines recently hosted a private dinner at CAV Wine Shop in Bonifacio Global City for World Cup champion Fabio Cannavaro and Chelsea legend Dennis Wise.

Representatives from the Younghusband Football Academy, a football clinic established by brothers James and Phil Younghusband in 2010, and Chelsea FC Asia were present at the dinner. They were joined by personalities like Daniel Matsunaga, Fabio Ide, Anton del Rosario, Simon and Chris Greatwich and Jason de Jong.

Before the dinner, both the players of Team James and Team Phil were hard at work in preparing for the Clear Dream Match 2. The players from both teams, despite their thorough training session at the Emperador Stadium that day, proceeded directly to the dinner to give both international football icons a taste of the trademark Filipino hospitality. 

Also present at the celebration were the top executives of the Clear Dream Match’s major sponsors Smart, Greenwich, Gatorade, Adidas, TechnoMarine, Rappler and Seda Hotels.
