Love, music & hope

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - For the past 19 years, the missionary Sisters of Charity of St. Anne has been actively involved in caring for the physical and spiritual welfare of some 600 mentally challenged and abandoned children at Elsie Gaches Village. One of the projects the missionary sisters envision for this institution is the full construction of a livelihood training center where the upper trainable children could be taught simple skills to make them functional and meaningful members of society. To realize this dream, some benefactors have volunteered to organize a dinner-benefit show entitled “Love, Music & Hope” on Sept. 20, Friday, 7 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom of Dusit Thani Hotel.

This dinner-benefit show will include a sumptuous buffet dinner and an evening of musical entertainment to be provided by the Banknotes, G7plus and Verni Varga under the musical direction of Raul Martin Velez.
