A runway success
The country’s supermodels could face stiff competition from our friends from the diplomatic corps after the blockbuster Global Fashion Flair show held at the Marriott Hotel Manila in Newport City Complex, Pasay City.
The event, a joint project of the International Bazaar Foundation Inc. (IBF) and the Spouses of Heads of Mission, saw dashing ambassadors, honorary consuls and their lovely spouses hitting the catwalk for charity. Show proceeds will be used for the benefit of the elderly, abandoned and abused children, calamity victims and for scholarships of indigent students.
As signature models for SM Fashion creations and Kultura Filipino collections, all walked the runway like real pros.
Special guests at the event were Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario and Austria Consul General Washington SyCip.
