Game changer

MANILA, Philippines - Lawyer Michael Toledo, Philex Mining Corp.  senior vice president for corporate affairs and MVP Group of Companies media bureau head, shared his experience in crisis management with students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). At the recent event dubbed “Game Changers: Communicate Fast and Faster,” Toledo said Philex Mining collaborated with government and the media in keeping the public up-to-date with the tailings leak accident at the company’s Padcal Mines in Benguet last year. Communication Arts, Political Science and Graduate students flocked to the PUP Tahanan ng Alumni to also listen to Toledo’s talk about using the social media for information dissemination.
