The game has changed
Luxurious accommodations, distinct dining options and impressive gaming facilities. All these and more can be found at the Solaire Resort and Casino, the first establishment to open at the Entertainment City in Parañaque City.
President Benigno Aquino III and Bloomberry Resorts Corp. chairman and CEO Enrique Razon Jr. officially opened Solaire to the public. They were joined by Global Gaming Asset Management chairman and CEO William Weidner, president Bradley Stone and EVP Garry Saunders, Solaire COO Michael French, PAGCOR chairman Cristino “Bong†Naguiat Jr., Parañaque City Mayor Florencio Bernabe Jr., Cabinet Secretary Jose Rene Almendras, Bloomberry Resorts Corp. vice chairman Jose Eduardo Alarilla and director Donato Almeda.
“We have worked very hard to bring into Solaire the finest and the brightest — from architecture and construction, interiors and amenities to gaming, cuisine and entertainment. Solaire will be an exceptional destination resort and gaming complex, the like of which has not been seen nor experienced in the Philippines,†Razon remarked.
Solaire’s opening ceremonies, hosted by Marc Nelson, Joey Mead-King and Rovilson Fernandez, were a testament to the resort’s grandeur with stunning visuals and graceful aerial dancers. As the countdown reached its final seconds, the doors opened to the ecstatic crowd. Guests during the opening day were given an exclusive preview of Solaire before it finally opened to the public. There was an overflow of drinks and samplers from some of Solaire’s signature restaurants. Guests also enjoyed performances from top Filipino balladeer Martin Nievera together with performer Ryan Gallagher.
The Phase 1 of Solaire is comprised of approximately 500 luxuriously appointed rooms, suites and bayside villas with a majestic view of the Manila Bay sunset. Two separate arrival and check-in areas pamper guests and showcase the details of world-renowned resort and casino designer Paul Steelman’s striking interior design accentuated by contemporary art pieces by Filipino artists.
Solaire has an unparalleled gaming experience with nearly 300 gaming tables featuring Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and other favorites, as well as 1,200 slot machines. There are also expansive gaming salons on the VIP floor.
Solaire has four signature fine dining restaurants: Red Lantern (Chinese), Yakumi (Japanese), Finestra (Italian) and Strip (Steakhouse). For a more casual atmosphere, Lucky Noodles, Fresh buffet and a Food Court offer delicious dishes from across the globe. Eclipse and Dragon Bar are also serving cocktails and entertainment to kick-start any evening. Solaire also gears up the opening of its spa facility and grand ballroom.
The management service for Solaire is provided by Global Gaming Asset Management, which is composed of industry veterans with combined experience of over 100 years of global gaming development and operations.
