MANILA, Philippines - Cebuanos enjoyed off-road excitement as the resort town of Liloan once again hosted Vaseline Men Xterra Weekend, the first leg of the 2013 Vaseline Men Xterra Off-road Triathlon Series.
Welcoming guests to Cebu were Liloan Mayor Duke Frasco joined by Alaska Milk Corp. president and CEO/Sunrise Events president and chairman Fred Uytengsu, Unilever PR and events manager Nikki Abella and Vaseline Men brand manager Jonathan Pua.
Liloan’s breathtaking scenery, rugged terrain and pristine beaches proved to be the best location for the event. Australia’s Ben Allen (men’s division) and United Kingdom’s Lesley Paterson (women’s division) ruled the off-road action. Meanwhile, Filipinos Joseph Miller and Alexandra Ganzon bagged the top spots in the Filipino Elite division’s male and female categories.
After the grueling swim-bike-run challenge, athletes and guests enjoyed pampering massages and skin cleansing at the Vaseline Men tent to soothe tired muscles and relieve aches brought about by a day’s worth of off-road action.
