Opus turns two!
For the celebration of its second anniversary, Opus tendered a classy sit-down dinner for its VIPs, loyal patrons and celebrities and media friends. Dinner was served in a gorgeous 60-seat glass-encased dining gallery with walls adorned by deconstructed fine art murals. To complete the feel, the venue was set up with long tables and wonderful decor. Wine and cheese were served at the dining area before the guests were ushered inside the lounge for dinner.
Opus’ chef Carlo Miguel prepared a five-course degustation dinner consisting of the dishes that made the establishment the popular dining destination that it is today. Cara Manglapus entertained the guests with her jazzy renditions of contemporary and classic tunes. This was followed by a live art performance by the Sipat Lawin Ensemble in Leeroy New avant-garde attire. The party continued with after-dinner drinks and music from Opus’ resident DJs Karl Ty, Mars Miranda and Funk Avy.
On hand to welcome the guests were Opus’ board of directors Carlo Miguel, Erik Cua, chef Fernando Aracama, GP Reyes, Ivan Zalameda, Jason Soong, Louie Ysmael, Manolet Dario, Marco de Guzman, Raj Sadhwani, Robby Carmona, Tim Yap and Stephen Ku.
The owners have mentioned that many things will be in store for Opus this year. We look forward to that.
