For the boundless traveler

For its Fall/Winter 2012 campaign, Wrangler presented through a fashion show the story of two people who traveled together from morning till night. Fuelled by the adrenaline rush of discovery, they were always on the move and eager to explore their next destination with functional yet edgy outfits for every journey.

The collection presented at the Robinsons Department Store included the Early Riser, Midnight and Boundless City and the Seven Icons lines.

The Early Riser line consists of bright-colored tops and lightweight denim bottoms. The Midnight and Boundless City collection includes functional and utilitarian outfits like a cape or a jacket in navy blue and biking red. The Seven Icons line includes cutting-edge denims.

Wrangler is one of the biggest denim brands with more than a hundred years of denim heritage. Founded in 1904, it was originally named Blue Bell. In 1947, the name Wrangler was born, which means “working cowboy.”

The event was graced by Wrangler president Daisy Go, VP for marketing Marty Tio and EVP Froilan Dollosa.

Relaxing, energizing & purifying

Your mood for the day, according to some studies, can sometimes be affected by the fragrance of the shirt or blouse you wear.

With this in mind, Surf Fabric Conditioner recently came up with three aromatherapy variants — Relaxing, Energizing and Purifying.

These variants were recently launched at the Aracama restaurant at The Fort in Taguig City. The mood at the event was warm and inviting as the venue that night was turned into a relaxing haven. Guests were treated to hand, foot, head and back massages from Asian Massage, Mont Albo Massage Hut and Spa Wherever You Are.

The event, hosted by Suzi Entrata-Abrera, also included talks from Dr. Michael Turvill, an aromatherapy expert who explained the therapeutic effects of aromatherapy; and wellness expert Maribel Dionisio who talked about how important it is for moms to take some time off their busy routine.

Surf also launched an advocacy called “Me O’clock ni Mommy,” which encourages moms to take a break and unwind. The campaign will reach out to moms through the Surf Philippines’ Facebook page, a photo contest where they can win relaxing getaways, and the Surf Aromatherapy Fabric Conditioner Spa Time Bus, which will go around the metro to provide relaxing massages and free manicure and pedicure services.

At the end of the night, Surf Aromatherapy Fabric Conditioner and its partner spas gave away prizes to several lucky guests.
