The innovator of trendy home-grown scents recently threw a big bash at the posh Red of the Makati Shangri- La Hotel. With his trademark panache, Aficionado Germany Perfume president and CEO Joel Cruz hosted a post-birthday cocktail and dinner party for his close friends and business associates. VIP guests included Vice President Jejomar Binay, Ambassadors Joaquin Daniel Otero (Argentina), Wilhelm Donko (Austria), Joachim Heidorn (Germany), Menashe Bar-On (Israel), Malai Hajah Halimah Malai Haji Yussof (Brunei), Hos Sereythonh (Cambodia) and Josef Rychtar (Czech Republic); US Consul General Michael Schimmel and South African Embassy Counselor Hugo Lambrechts.
