Everyone had a relaxing stay in the first triple-A resort, which was highlighted with a classy sit-down dinner in its huge air-conditioned tent (one of its kind on the island) beautifully set up on the Boracay beach. Genial Boracay Regency assistant to the president Alfons Chusuey and highly efficient resorts manager Dindo Salazar warmly welcomed guests to the venue that was elegantly decorated with chandeliers and floral arrangements. The vacationers enjoyed a wide variety of cuisine from the resort’s six topnotch restaurants: Sea Breeze Café, Hap Chan (Chinese), Christina’s, A-Rang (Korean), MO2 Wave Bar and Gazebo Grill. Delectable meat entrées, seafood, fresh fruits and mouth-watering desserts were prepared by the resort’s excellent chefs, including a fine array of cheeses paired with premium wines provided by the effervescent Tita Trillo.

Making the night extra special was world-class baritenor Jack Salud, who serenaded the audience with his Broadway hits and ballads. What a truly fun and superb dinner indeed, only at Boracay Regency! Bravo Henry Chusuey!

‘Home’of Mamma Mia!

The luxurious Dusit Thani Hotel is once again the official home of another international hit musical show Mamma Mia! Currently staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), Mamma Mia! features timeless songs popularized by the pop group ABBA such as Chiquitita; Dancing Queen; Money, Money, Money; The Winner Takes It All; and Take a Chance on Me. Where children’s wishes come true

Seeing smiles on little children’s faces from simple acts of charity is priceless. This became a reality when Crown Asia, a subsidiary of Vista Land, recently held a “Grant A Child’s Wish” program at the Valenza in the master-planned Sta. Elena City in Laguna. Led by Crown Asia COO Mary Lee Sadiasa, the event was filled with laughter and smiles as homeowners made a selfless effort to make the wishes of children from the S.O.S. Children’s Village come true. A stellar night at the Bellevue

It was a stellar evening indeed as some of the country’s celebrities and designers trooped to Alabang for a fabulous party at the Bellevue Hotel, the best five-star hotel in Southern Metro. True to their hospitality, brilliant Bellevue GM Patrick Chan and genial marketing and communications director Ryan Chan hosted the gathering that started with an elegant private dinner at the Phoenix Court, the hotel’s very popular Chinese restaurant. Afterwards, everyone proceeded to the ultra chic Vue Bar and partied the night away, enjoying the superb live music, a variety of cocktails, premium drinks and vintage wines, as well as the panoramic view of the city. Topnotch celebrity stylist Jing Monis, who runs his own salon at the hotel, alongside other beautifully-dressed personalities, truly had great time. Till the next party!
