Belo truly knows beauty

It was one fabulous evening as the doyenne of beauty, the ever radiant Dr. Vicki Belo, together with her lovely daughter, Belo Essentials managing director Cristalle Belo Henares, recently re-introduced a gorgeous and sexier Ruffa Gutierrez to the media as Belo Medical group’s BodyTite endorser. Ruffa, the actress-host, former beauty queen and mother of two, proudly showed off her enviable figure as she endorsed the latest body contouring procedure being offered by the clinic.

Held at The Peninsula Manila’s Salon de Ning, the glitzy affair had guests enjoying the delectable pass-around cocktails paired with the especially concocted Ruffatini drink. Bea Tantoco, the society set’s favorite chanteuse, provided the evening’s exceptional entertainment together with her band, The Sauce. What a fun party indeed!

Gold & silver = love & happiness

A simple yet heartwarming celebration recently marked two important occasions — the golden wedding anniversary of lovely couple Ed and Carrie Bautista and the silver wedding anniversary of their eldest son, the genial Bobby and his charming wife Ludette from New York. Held at the Bautista’s beautiful residence in Dasmariñas Village, the milestone affair started with a solemn Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. John Muscat, OFM. Family members and close friends took part in this joyful gathering filled with great food, good times and memorable stories.

A field day for the big shots

Business tycoons and other captains of industry recently changed into their golf shirts to have a field day on the green during the 2011 Mercedes Trophy held at the sprawling Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club in Laguna. CATS Motors, Inc., the Philippine distributor of Mercedes-Benz automobiles, holds the invitational amateur golf tournament every year for its sophisticated client roster of local Benz owners. As expected, the prizes were just as fantastic — Mercedes-Benz vehicles for hole-in-ones plus the winning team gets to fly (via Cathay Pacific’s new business class section) to Queensland, Australia as the country’s representative to the 2011 Mercedes Trophy Asian Finals on Aug. 24-26. 

This year’s lucky champions are Jaime Fernandez (Division A), Richard Santos (Division B), Angel Lee (Division C) and Marissa Vergara (Ladies Division). Heading the Philippine delegation is CATS Motors brilliant president Felix Ang with public relations director Emy Arcilla as country captain.
