After a decade of spreading the joys of looking, smelling and feeling good to a lot of people with his award-winning products, the “Lord of Scents” Joel Cruz truly has a lot of reasons to celebrate his special day. Held at the upscale dining and lounge haven Society Lounge in Makati, the remarkable gathering was made even more enjoyable with the French Fashion Food-inspired dishes prepared by seasoned chef Patrice Freuslon partnered with champagne and world-renowned wines. The party was not without the heartwarming song numbers by Jonathan Badon and the presence of government, diplomatic and business luminaries including Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri, Austrian Ambassador Wilhelm Donko, Argentine Ambassador Joaquin Otero, The Netherlands Ambassador Robert Brinks and E. Zobel Foundation chairman Dee Zobel.  The celebration had everyone extending their greetings and support for Joel for his unwavering efforts to develop more innovative products and create more jobs for the Filipinos.

A special day for Nene

Hardworking businesswoman, dedicated philanthropist and loving mother, Nene Pe Lim, recently marked her birthday with a fabulous bash at the Banquet Hall of the Makati Sports Club. The fun-filled celebration started with a solemn Mass officiated by Fr. Mario Sobrejuanite. Nene’s ever supportive husband Benny and their five children were present to show their love for the celebrator. Friends from different foundations and clubs like the Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines, Catholic Women Club, Smiles Club and Zonta Club were also present to wish Nene all the best during her special day. Spicing up the affair was a dance tango performance by two of her dearest friends, George Manansala and Didi Manarang.
