Bulgari presented its Fall-Winter 2010 leather goods collection, which highlighted the Chandra bag and introduced the Rossellini bag at its boutique in Greenbelt 4.
Chandra is the “couture-cut” bag that embodies the spirit of the entire collection, reflecting a conscious and charismatic femininity. Style icon and actress Isabella Rossellini collaborated with Bulgari to create a bag that would express her personality. The Rossellini is a handbag distinguished by simple, essential lines that reflect the beauty and rigor of its muse.
The Bulgari jewelry boutique was transformed into an accessories store featuring Bulgari leather goods, silk products among other accessories. A section was dedicated to the Chandra line showcasing different versions of the bag and another section dedicated itself to the Rossellini bag, which included the photo of Isabella Rossellini and her mother Ingrid Bergman walking out the Via dei Condotti store in the ‘60s. The Greenbelt 4 hallway was composed of two lighted bars with a menu by the Manila Peninsula and cocktails by Piper Heidsieck. Shortly after the guests arrived, the fashion show began with male and female models carrying bags from the collection: Chandra, Twist, Urban, Monete, Weekend and Rossellini.
Present to welcome guests to the event were Bulgari Manila GM Mario Katigbak and Bulgari South Asian Operations external relations director Asha Langdown.
(The Fall-Winter leather goods collection is available in Bulgari boutiques located in Greenbelt 4 (728-5061 to 62) and 6750 Ayala Shopping Arcade (893-3189).)
For the fab bachelorette
Levi’s celebrated the launch of the new Levi’s Curve ID jeans with a fabulous bachelorette party at the Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences. Celebrating glorious femininity, Levi’s presented an ingenious way to liberate women from their typical denim frustrations to a crowd of the metro’s top style icons and fashionistas.
The new Levi’s Curve ID jeans introduced an innovative fit system that will revolutionize the way women shop for their denims. With three new sexy fits — the slight curve, the demi curve and the bold curve — they will fit and complement the body, emphasizing women’s curves in a way that no other denims can!
Fun was undeniably had, from the beginning of the evening till the early hours of the morning, as the event was hosted by Levi’s very own marketing manager Jen Jimenez and Levi’s senior buyer for women’s apparel Karen Lozon with the help of Thinline president Frank Briones. Champagne and cocktails and groovy beats filled the loft as ladies were treated to a spectacular night of fashion and entertainment. A surprise sexy number of three bachelors completed the show and set the house on fire as their mostly female guests shouted and cheered with delight.
