1. Cleanse. Beautiful skin starts with clean skin. Use the right products suitable to care for your skin type.

2. Choose. Choosing the right shade of foundation can be done by simply applying a small streak to your jaw bone. While most of us slather swatches of makeup on our hands, logic dictates that the best spot for sampling is the skin closest to our face.

3. Cover. Applying liquid foundation is simple and easy. Just dot the forehead, apples of your cheeks, chin and blend. Blending is best with a makeup brush (sponges absorb all the liquid foundation instead of it going to your face), do remember to apply even on the “invisible” areas like your hairline.

Create dimension by playing on shadows on the jawline, cheeks, a little on the sides of the nose. Remember to blend since shadows are never sharp.

Just a little goes a long way! Finish up with some pressed or loose powder that’s preferably a shade darker. Dust also your neck and shoulders.
