For 10 consecutive years, the shores of Boracay have been the site of the country’s biggest, most scintillating summer celebration as dance party mega-brand Bigfish hosted UK-based super-club Slinky in Slinky 3D.
Slinky 3D was the only dance party being headlined by an internationally renowned DJ; it was the only dance party being held at the beachfront of island institutions Aria, Café del Sol and Jammers, veritable ground zero for Boracay’s revelry; and it was the only event with two of the world’s biggest dance party labels attached to it!
Immense steel girders framing a massive white canopy transformed the Aria, Café Del Sol and Jammers beachfront into a Bedouin fantasyland, with Bigfish banners and pennants fluttering fiercely in the wind, proudly marking ground for the island’s ultimate party experience. Beach boys and girls grooved to the intense, seductive beats of The Thrillseekers, a.k.a. DJ Steve Helstrip as he spun hours and hours of the most progressive electro and trance house music. Pumped partygoers, decked in hip 3D glasses, squealed in delight at Bigfish’s signature laser light extravaganza combined with Slinky’s stunning 3D visuals, projected from gigantic, theater-like screens. Many Bigfish party aficionados arrived early to hear Bigfish stalwart DJ John Boy Lee as he opened the night with his trademark thumping dance house tracks. Rounding up the party cast was Team Bigfish’s MC Lavoce, who expertly orchestrated the festivities and kept the partygoers up and pumped.
Slinky 3D, the 10th edition of Boracay’s longest-running and most spectacular dance party series, was made possible by Lee, San Mig Light and Lick. The Philippine STAR is one of the media partners.
On May 21, at A-Venue in Makati, Bigfish turns the Manila party scene upside down in the Innovation Black Party featuring DJ Ferry Corsten. Don’t miss that!
