Truly showcasing the myriad tastes of the Philippines, Reyes’ masterpiece features 25 stunning houses and condominiums in and around Manila. The tome evokes a distinctive tropical-modern fusion style that is gaining popularity around the world. The highly-successful affair was attended by the country’s distinguished society personalities, businessmen, artists and literary aficionados.

A beautiful mind for toddlers

It was a day of fun and learning at the recently held symposium called It’s Baby’s Time to Shine at Rustan’s Makati. Host Ria Tanjuatco-Trillo filled in moms and dads about the exciting day of activities and interesting discussions on baby care. Powerhans Philippines owner Geraldine Wong introduced their latest product, the Wink to Learn DVDs, to truly help babies learn English and Chinese in a fun and exciting way. Pediatrician Dr. Angelita Gonzalez also took the stage and gave tips on how to properly care for baby’s sensitive skin while Lala Samson of Playtex showed innovative baby feeding products. The highlight of the event was the lecture of child learning expert from Singapore Hann Yang Lee who presented breakthrough methods on teaching babies the English and Chinese language. Aside from raffle prizes like videos, music CDs, toys and a motorized car, participants went home enriched with valuable teaching tips on how to further ensure their baby’s communication development.
