MANILA, Philippines - The Assumption Alumnae Association (AAA) will hold its second much-awaited bazaar this year on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel InterContinental Manila.
The bazaar aims to raise much-needed scholarship funds for the various Assumption Mission Schools, which have been set up to provide basic education for underprivileged children and much-needed livelihood programs in their respective communities.
There will be more than a hundred vendors offering a wide variety of merchandise. Unique to the Assumption bazaar is the participation of alumnae who personally design and sell one-of-a-kind items not found in other bazaars. Assumption Mission Schools around the country, who are beneficiaries of the bazaar proceeds, also sell special food items and indigenous product especially made by the sisters and the members of their many livelihood projects.
Please check out also the organic produce of Assumption alumna Gina Lopez, from her “Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig” project.
